Infrastructure for a world where intelligence causes effects.

Hood Intelligence is developing HIOP: a vendor-neutral authority, execution-control, and evidence layer for consequential actions by AI agents, software, and machines.

The market

AI is moving from answering questions to taking action.

McKinsey estimates that AI agents could mediate $3–$5 trillion in global consumer commerce by 2030, while generative AI could create $2.6–$4.4 trillion in annual economic value. Reuters reported in August 2026 that Anthropic expected to present a total addressable market above $30 trillion. These are third-party category forecasts and a reported company estimate—not Hood revenue projections.

HIOP is being built for the trust, identity, authority, execution, and evidence infrastructure required by that transition. The commerce number is the first ring. Robotics, critical infrastructure, scientific systems, and mission or orbital assets are additional high-consequence markets where the same authorization problem appears.

As software moves from producing answers to taking actions, organizations need a separate control question: who is authorized to cause which effect, on what resource, under which policy, and with what evidence afterward? HIOP is designed to sit between intelligent systems and consequential digital or physical effects without depending on one model vendor, tool route, or communication channel.

Target market

Start where autonomous action creates economic consequence.

Hood's primary market is not every AI user. It is organizations putting agents, software, or machines in a position to change money, data, access, infrastructure, equipment, or mission state.

Primary beachhead
Enterprise agent operations. Security, IT, finance, commerce, customer operations, and regulated workflows where an agent can transact, modify systems, release data, or trigger a consequential process.
Expansion market
Physical and scientific operations. Robotics, laboratories, manufacturing, energy, data centers, and other environments where software can cause a physical effect.
Strategic market
Mission and orbital assets. Long-lived or remote systems that need durable identity, bounded authority, evidence, revocation, recovery, and lifecycle records.
Economic buyer
CIO, CISO, CTO, AI platform, risk, compliance, and operations leaders responsible for expanding AI use without surrendering institutional control.
Who captures AI spending now

The companies making money across the AI economy.

AI spending is already captured across chips, compute, cloud, models, enterprise software, identity, security, resilience, robotics, and physical AI.

Hood's place in the money loop

More AI adoption creates more actions that need authority.

Hood's opportunity is the control point between intelligence and consequence. The loop is straightforward: enterprises buy AI capability; agents propose more actions; HIOP governs which actions may proceed; evidence makes controlled adoption easier to expand; greater adoption creates more governed actions.

01
Enterprise buys AI capability

Models, cloud, data, agents, automation, or machines.

02
Agent proposes an effect

A transaction, access change, workflow, message, command, or physical action.

03
HIOP checks authority

Identity, current permission, policy, resource, effect, conditions, and revocation state.

04
Allow, deny, or escalate

The existing platform executes only after the governed decision.

05
Evidence closes the loop

Decision and observed outcome become durable, reviewable receipts.

06
Controlled adoption expands

More trusted deployment creates more actions requiring the same authority layer.

How Hood can earn

Paid evaluation
Scoped, non-production evaluation of a defined agent, workflow, effect set, and evidence requirement.
Enterprise platform license
Annual license for the HIOP control plane, policy administration, evidence, and governed integrations.
Governed-action usage
Volume-based economics tied to mediated decisions, receipts, assets, agents, or controlled operating domains.
Integration and assurance
Adapter work, deployment support, policy mapping, independent review support, and premium operations.

The investment thesis: Hood does not need to win the chip, model, cloud, CRM, identity, or robot market. It needs to become the trusted authority boundary those markets require when intelligence is allowed to cause real effects.

The Future of Autonomous Intelligence

Corporate film. Thesis, physical AI, and HIOP as governed intelligence infrastructure. Conceptual 2035 sequences are not Hood deployments. This is not a product sales demo.

The problem

Models determine what might be done. HIOP determines what may be done.

HIOP evaluates whether an action may proceed and preserves evidence of the decision and observed outcome. It does not replace the model, guarantee correctness, or claim omniscient safety.

Autonomous agents
Agents already draft, retrieve, call tools, transact, and operate machines. Capability is compounding faster than the systems used to govern it.
The governance problem
Who is acting, what it may cause, and whether that can be proven afterward. A login is not a license. A prompt is not a grant of authority.
HIOP product
A governed action boundary connecting identity, current authority, policy enforcement, and evidence.

Intellectual property

Built to be defensible.

Hood Intelligence is developing proprietary technology around governed agent authority, controlled execution, evidence, and decision continuity.

The public distinction is the product outcome: determine whether a consequential effect is currently authorized and preserve evidence of what occurred. Detailed claim language, application numbers, security controls, and unpublished implementation mechanics are not published here.

Commercial engagement begins with scope review and a non-production evaluation. Licensing and deployment require separate technical, security, legal, and commercial approval.
